Instructions for Firefox Users:
In order to undertake the Osmosis Training online sessions using a Firefox browser, you will need to download and install the IE Tab Add-on. Please find below instructions on how to download and install the add-on (please note that this method will only work for Windows users):
- Go to IE Tab Addon
- Click on the green button that says "Add to Firefox (Windows)"
- Click "Install Now" in the box that appears.
- Once the installation is complete, click on "Restart Firefox" at the top of the list.
- After Firefox has restarted, close the add-ons window and proceed to the Osmosis Training website at www.osmosistraining.co.uk.
- When you are on the Osmosis Training home page, right click and select the "View Page in IE Tab" option in the list.
(please note that if you do not see this option in the list, try right clicking on another area of the page)
Once you have completed the set of instructions listed above you will be able to undertake the Osmosis Training online sessions.
Using a computer
within a network may prevent you from altering settings and downloading Flash.
Having problems?
Try the following:

Check you have Flash 9 - Have you got the latest version of Macromedia
Flash which is Flash 9? After you have arrived on the first page of the lesson:
1) Click screen area and then:
2) Right click a drop down list will display the version of the flash player you have installed. If it is lower than 9 follow update instructions as above.
· Clear your cache - Stored files in your computer may be affecting how your lessons work.
For XP please follow these instructions:
Go to tools at the top of the page and choose internet options
Choose general tab and under temporary internet files delete cookies and delete files
For Vista please follow these instructions:
Go to tools at the top of the page and choose internet options
Click on general tab and under browsing history click on the delete button
Here delete temporary internet files and cookies

Is every visit to page selected? When you are in Internet Explorer go to tools
at top of page. Click ‘Settings’ in Temporary internet settings. Here ensure
the ‘Every visit to page’ radio button is checked.
· Disconnect your network/wireless network - There may be some old memory that is stopping the functioning of the program.
Please unplug your LAN, hub or your wireless box from the mains for a period of
thirty seconds.

Is Java script enabled? Go to tools in Internet explorer. Choose
Security Tab. Then click ‘Custom Level’ box. Once clicked, scroll down and
until you get to Scripting (active scripting). Here click ‘Enable’ radio
button.

Have you logged in and out? Try exiting session and logging in again. This
means you enter you passwords etc again.
